It was an API security update to block making le funni in game macros into scuffed bots.

Apparently people could have been making kickbots out of normal macros the past 2 decades.

and well when it comes to rotationbots its not the rotationbot itself i think its the unlocker they use

Yeah external pixelbots with a kernel driver to mask input is the way.

Since WoW doesn’t have a kernel anti cheat but still has every user mode thing done.

They change up integrity checks to see if the client itself is modified.

So unlockers are a no no

Although FYI blizz also bans without detecting cheats or botting.

They do stat bans, so instant reaction stuff can be flagged on the server.

I know for a fact they ban people if they bot for too long without detecting the bot itself.

IIRC that stuff is automated now, doesn’t require a GM or a report.

Hardware bots that spoof USB vendor id get hit by this and 100% cannot be told different hardware wise from normal kb/m.
