Sound detection doesn't work for everyone because of some peculiarities behind media API which doesn't work properly with some audio devices, so it might be much better in terms of catch rate, but might not work at all for you. You can try to change **bobber check time** value to 0, after some tests proved to work better this way on tw and will add this change as default in the next update.
