First of all I want to say I think the Bot is very solid and probably the best out there, but anyway there is always stuff to improve - Here are some things I would love to see changed, what changes would you like to see ?

A better launcher with setting for:
- pause intervals with random settings, eg do a break every 2-3 hours for 15-45 min etc
- Random order of scripts to look more human
- Itemlog: I know i can read the log file but it would be nice if you could change colors / fond in the console, the blue text is very hard to read, maybe make the KEPT pop more with bold text.
>>(I know there are launcher mods, but they crash the game for me)

Improved lite version:
- include cows / TC 85
- include cubing


General:
- teleport from charged items eg ammy / najs staff / tele staff / circ
- bot doesnt check quantity of java spears?
- hork barb support
- a lvling script
- a Grush script
- discount for multi accounts or a cheaper lifetime option / maybe even a fg option a man can dream :D

Bugs:
When restarting after Crashing, sometimes the game doesnt show any chars, it looks like servers are offline - I know i can fix this manualy if i hit create character and cancel after, all my chars will reappear. Not sure if this is just me

If the stand alone app I created isn't working for you (would love to hear why in a direct message so I can attempt to fix) reference this thread from the old forums. It's basically the same thing just as an autoit script and without some of the bells and whistles. Worked great though.

Definitely agree with those!
Leveling scripts exist for kolbot, so hopefully not too hard for them to be ported eventually. Launcher with breaks and feels necessary for this bot, so bad luck it doesn't work for you :(

Additionally:
  • Have the master window abort when the bot or D2R freezes by closing the game client
  • Other auras to avoid besides might and fanatacism (ex. conviction)
  • Ability to combine auras and monster enchants (ex. avoid monsters with both extra strong AND might)
  • Record the location of chickens or even take a screenshot (to help troubleshoot your settings)
  • Record loot location (to help determine which areas have best yield per clear speed)
  • Infer item level from loot location - since we can't see ilvl in d2r, recording ilvl when picked up based on area the bot is currently in OR expanding the pickit to account for areas and only pickup items in those areas
  • Discord webhook (as in Buck's launcher)
  • GUI for pickit or a nip error checker (old kolbot one for NotePad++ seems to be broken)
  • Place loot in shared stash first

loot location is now recorded in the log.

I think conviction not working is a bug he doesnt know about

he has a timer setup for 25 seconds which will force close d2r and restart it when it hangs. there is a rare issue though where the game will freeze but windows wont recognize it as non-responsive and bot/game will hang indefinitely. I think he is reluctant to acknowledge this as a problem with the bot and thinks its user error or outside programs interfering.

also for convoluted reasons aura and enchant skipping wont work on any council members, something he is aware of but doesn't see as a priority

oh and also a leveling/ playing through the game option is what i think he is working on now. I personally think its a waste of time given how much work it will be and how fast you can get rushed/ just set it to clear areas and level that way.

I haven't seen it happen to me often enough to narrow it down to the windows not recognizing issue. But yeah, all about the handler - so if that isn't recognizing it, not much to be done.

I don't have a concept of how much of the original bot he is rewriting versus porting features one at a time. My only point of reference is the analogous kolbot script: https://github.com/isid0re/SoloLeveling which was a nice fire-and-forget option. The clearing areas leveling definitely works already, so yeah, diminishing returns.


Oh, one other kolbot/d2bs feature I had enjoyed: a leacher/assistant/followbot feature. Obviously would probably be secondary to the multi-client support that is often discussed. I always enjoyed the challenge of drafting a team of synergistic bots, though that's a niche case - not useful for grinding a large output of items.

I wont pretend to know what he does or how it works but it cannot be as simple as copy and pasting old kolbot scripts. if it is then the development pace has been a serious joke. I think he is reverse engineering packets? i dont know. maybe all the kolbot scripts being written in english is the problem lol

I love the look of you launcher, I think it has alot of potential but right now it will crash alot on my runs and stop running after crashing a few times, it says Stall something and restarting

because is impossible for debug this when you are have 1000 user and all is have not same hardware + software
all im know is if run bot for clean vm and no extra program all test user is never see this error

if windows OS is no reported process for not respond then is not some easy way for know is freeze only can do if bot is have talk for control

im already work for control program that is have ui / multi bot / schedule / more and is can do talk for ui <> bot so ui is can see bot is no talk for 2+ second and do restarted but this is all code for 0% start so it is taked time

because im not can find way for see memory can see who is do this aura

if bot is have infinity and put this aura inside monster then game is say this monster is have conviction - if im skip this mean foh paladin is skip all monster 🤔

d2r is not same d2 - not can use any old. All is need reverse engineer from 0%

kolbot is also have 10+ year code time and sololevel script is have many year

this bot is just 5 month is no good for make compare 😩

what do you mean as this makes no sense Q_Q. are you saying script cause crash a lot? or you just crash a lot.
