AOE farming is supported for the new advanced combat system.

As long as your class is supported

In theory yes

They won't apply runes to slots. (Not implemented)
They will use abilities if that ability has been added to the rotation. Usually works fine for the abilities they've taken from WotLK e.g Crusader Strike

Work is ongoing for the new combat system which will include Runes

And Cava is adding rune acquisition to their questing profiles.

also one more question is there a reason why alot of the time my bot grinds mobs to the next level instead of doing multiple quests in a row? im lvl 11 now and there are lvl 6 quests that it hasnt done its saying its grinding to lvl 12

That's a profile specific question. But I assume you're talking about Cava's profiles?
